Help raise funds for little miss Ellie Prince

Little Ellie Prince has a very rare disorder called Neonatal Adrenoleukodystrophy and is not expected to live beyond her first birthday. She lives on Ward 17 at Leighton Hospital and her parents are raising money to furnish a room in her honour by encouraging groups to hold 'wear it purple' days and help to raise funds.

Next Tuesday, (8th) Nantwich Baby Group (10.30am – 12pm at the Baptist church in Market Street) will be taking part by encouraging all visiting mums, dads and babies to wear purple on the day. There will also be a 'name the teddy' event and they will be selling purple cupcakes. The event will also coincide with the Baby Group’s second birthday party so parents are asked to bring some food for a buffet.

Purple little miss Ellie bands are available from Ward 17 or by emailing: dan.prince@live.co.uk

  1. You might not be aware that Ellie passed away yesterday. All the more reason to celebrate her life and her remarkable blog by supporting her campaign.
